Thinking deep thoughts....Your Question of the Week

_MB_POSTED_BY admin in question-of-the-week

Welcome to the weekly section of this blog called
 " Question of the Week"
This is where I ask a preposterously pontificating (and probably rhetorical) question, then you answer it as best as you can... preferably with another question  (or you know, however you want...)

Question of the Week #1:

I am wondering if one can be too contemplative? follow up question: can you get so deep you drown?

And GO!-

wondering about wondering

I try not to wonder about wondering. It feels like a bad loop to be stuck in.

moderation

I think that anything is good in moderation. It is possible to be too contemplative and think about a topic too much. When a subject starts to consume ones mind and interfere with their daily life, I would say that is unhealthy. Plus, I personally believe that when you over contemplate you easily miss the what you are looking for, because you are looking so deep into something, when usually the answer is simple and in front of your face. smilies/shocked.gif

But anyway that is my opinion. Anything extreme is unhealthy. Balance is the key in life, if you can balance everything in life then you are set, but it is ALWAYS a work in progress smilies/smiley.gif
